Hey, I'm Price Oliver, better known as Po_gonefishin. I'm an angler, content creator from the Atlanta area, and co-founder of Jon Boat Boyz Outdoors. What started as a passion for fishing has grown into an incredible journey of sharing experiences on the water, meeting amazing people, and building a community that loves the outdoors as much as I do. Whether I'm competing in tournaments, exploring new fisheries, or just having a good time with friends, my goal is simple: create genuine content that inspires others to get outside, make memories, and enjoy everything fishing has to offer. The Story of Jon Boat Boyz Outdoors
Jon Boat Boyz Outdoors was founded in 2015 by Price Oliver and Nick Simmons with a simple idea: you don't need a $100,000 bass boat to enjoy great fishing. Built around anglers who fished from jon boats out of necessity—or simply because they loved the challenge—the group celebrated the idea that passion, skill, and time on the water matter far more than the size of your boat. What began as a handful of friends sharing fishing trips and making memories quickly grew into a community united by authenticity, camaraderie, and a shared appreciation for grassroots fishing.
Today, Jon Boat Boyz Outdoors has grown far beyond its humble beginnings. Through social media, tournaments, brand partnerships, and the support of an incredible community, the mission has expanded to inspire anglers across the country to get on the water, support one another, and never lose sight of why they started fishing in the first place. With initiatives like the Jon Boat Boyz Fall Classic, collaborations with fellow creators, and a continued commitment to highlighting the people and businesses that make the outdoor industry great, Jon Boat Boyz Outdoors is helping shape the future of grassroots fishing—while staying true to the values it was founded on over a decade ago.
